Kickstarter Launch - New BBQ accessory invention - Sizzle Monster

Dear BBQ chefs:

I am new to the forum and I am so excited in getting ready to launch my first KickStarter project – The Sizzle Monster™!  I enjoy creating products as well as cooking, and this time it is a charcoal BBQ accessory! 

The Sizzle Monster™ kit is a charcoal holder that holds a large amount of charcoal to generate a high searing temperature for steakhouse level results and a cast iron heat diffuser to turn your entire grill surface into a non-direct heat cooking zone when you have lots of food to cook and a ton of hungry people.  We are going live on KickStarter on 3/17 (St. Patrick’s Day), and we are welcoming your great support to enable more BBQ lovers to enhance the taste of their food and fully utilize their grills!  Please feel free to forward to your colleagues, friends and family who also enjoy great BBQ experiences!  Happy cooking, eating and sharing!

Interesting invention.  I did not see mention of a patent on your site.  If you have not done so already, you need to immediately go get a provisional utility patent going.  People will knock your product off before you can get to market otherwise.

@ Silver: Thanks for your interest, currently we only got the shipping cost for US shipping and when we launch on Kickstarter I will only have US shipping.  If you get enough interest, I may be able to ship a few units to Canada but the shipping cost may be more. Thanks.

I've noticed the stamped baskets from weber tend to last about 3 years (depending on use and abuse)

What kind of temperatures are you getting with the diffuser plate on?

It gets up above 1100F, so super hot. Restaurants uses 1000F + so that was my bar.  I will have more data on the Kickstarter.  Thanks.
