Kettlecook, I'm pretty sure that both products have had minor changes through the years. But I'm betting that even if they aren't from the same factory, they are from the same province in China.

The Kettle Pizza spinners are made in the USA.  Not from some province in China.  Likely partially explains the cost.  Not saying they don't mark up other stuff (aforementioned chimney, the veranda looking cover) but this could be one of the things that they source from a more premium supplier.
