Thanks everyone for all your help. I wanted to redeem myself so I tried it again last night with much success. I really think this forum is awesome.  I'm going to learn a lot on here.

Pics to follow If I can figure out how to post them.

Hit the "preview" button instead of "post" to see what'll happen. What you want is the image's full URL, from http through .jpg How you get that can sometimes be more difficult than it should be, because it's common for hosting sites to say the image's URL looks like that but really is instead a web page with the image--not "just" the image.

To verify you have the correct thing, test it: The URL must be able to show the image, and just the image, in a separate browser tab or window. If it does, place that URL here between IMG tags.

This code:

[img]http://pics.weberkettleclub.com/images/2015/05/16/dogs.md.jpg[/img]

shows just the image:

The test: The image's URL, http://pics.weberkettleclub.com/images/2015/05/16/dogs.md.jpg pulls in only the picture, it doesn't take me to any sort of web page.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

I get pretty good results baking pizza on the Weber kettle on a hearth stone or just a plain pizza pan or cookie sheet.

You can find an article on both pizza and calzones on my site and with details on how I set the kettle up for baking. Hope this helps...

Very interesting! You have a lot of heat directly under the pie but don't burn it! Presumably the stone + ceramic lifter stand create a strong heat shield AND lift it high enough that the heat can spread out enough to curl around the kettle and up top.
