Boerewors is directly translated from afrikaans meaning farmers saussage.
It is mainly beef, some variations include some pork.
Each recipe has a closely guarded set of spices.
As it was hot and we where celebrating I decided to throw some wors on the weber using local wood and make wors rolls.
For the onions I used one onion, tomato sauce, chutney and beer. Came out really good.

Half way in we had a massive storm which was much needed as we are in the worst drought in 20 years

Those look pretty tasty! What's the sauce you've used on them? Beautiful family you have there, and congratulations on the latest addition!

Thank you very much.
I will post a recipe for boerewors shortly.
I can't Braai without it.
As for the sauce, it's one onion, tomato sauce and chutney cooked in a pot mixed with lager. Chutney is a south African type relish.
My home cooking is very South African.
