I Have already used a pie tin like this and it works well. It is just a OTS pan, that most people that don't have the Gold/Premium kettles will already have. Granted maybe not ideal if you are going to need to clear ashes in the middle of a cook, but that isn't usually a problem. You can still adjust the bottom airflow as it sits on top of the cleaning vanes.

Yes, I already looked at it $30. but can you adjust air flow? Do you have one? Granted this would work best with a center fire and moving food to the edges for a safe zone. I cook slow with a different setup.
