I knew they have these at ACE, but was at Home Depot and went looking for them. 4 pack for like $1.38. The 1 inch are what you're looking for. Fit snug. I'm not sure if they have them in black - didn't look.

I have also found this brand.  Available up here in Canada at Home Hardware (Canada's version of Ace or Tru Valu).  Black, too.
Might have paid a bit more.  Never seen them at HH, Lowe's or anywhere else up here.

I use this same brand. Found at menards for around a dollar

I checked Menards after weldboy mentioned it and they had black ones available online.

Go to www.zoro.com. You will find White and Black caps. You will also find the 3/8 wheel nuts in black. Prices are rock bottom.

Menards by me has black and white.....also don't forget that the cover on the small propane bottles fits perfect as well.  You know the propane bottle that goes on a performer... don't toss them

Menards in the Milwaukee area are carrying black plastic in 1". White plastic in every size, but 1" (only 1" white w/felt). Lowes carries them, but the edge is rounded more than these.
