Well, so far the big guys around here (Raleigh, NC) are not proving to be any help (Airgas, Ferrell), starting to track down some smaller companies and I'll report back. Getting some ideas from a 4x4 group in the area too.  I'll update this post with my final findings.

I have also seen some youtube vids on how to use a 20lb tank to refill the 5lb. Could try that... wait. That may have been for green camping bottles.
