First Shot At Turds!
« on: November 09, 2015, 02:09:49 PM »
Taking my first shot at turds tonight!  Trying three different varieties...1.creamcheese 2.herb goat cheese 3.medeterainian goat cheese.

They're still going, about half cooked but here's a shot of them staring.

Yup, using my stacker mod on my performer.  Love it still.

Will post a finish shot but here's a shot with his little brother who's cooking tonight's dinner...burgers.

Side note: I think my family just set an all time record for being able to use the word turd in a sentence in one day.

Plate shot!

Ok, they are good!   I think they could be better because I think they picked up some bitter smoke from bacon grease burning on heat diffuser, I think cooking them longer takes heat away and I think cream cheese is better than goat cheese.  Over all they are good and a definite redo.

Looks good by my book!  Try adding some cheddar lil smokies to them next time if you want a little more substance to them.

I've used blue cheese (can be cut with cream cheese if people don't like strong blue) and I've also used sweet peppers for people who don't like spicy.

There are unlimited combinations. Yours look pretty good to me!

What was cooking on the other grill?   (just noticed the smoke rolling out of it!)
