Tri-tip $12.00...Cooked on kettle...priceless
« on: October 30, 2015, 12:55:37 AM »
Cooked a tri tip for the first time on my kettle.  It was a smooth and easy process.  I used to cook them on my Big Green Egg but not any more.  I'm a firm believer in the kettle.  I planning to sell my egg so I can buy more kettles.  Here are some pics and some meat porn.

Enjoy!  (click on links for pictures)

Wow a converter the other way around, I have seen many people go the other way round stating once they got a Kamado they say the kettle collects dust.

I don't get that thinking, I use both.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

I have had the egg since 2003.  What it does it does well but I find it limited in options.  It is a great cooker but now prefer the Weber Kettle.
