Been Lucky - Two Scores for Free

They aren't "vintage" kettles, but I have been fortunate enough to score two Webers for free recently.  The first is a 2010 black OTG and the second is a new in box 2010 18" WSM.  Found the OTG on CL and it is in good shape.  Although the ash sweeps are bent so they may need to be replaced. 

The WSM was given to me by a coworker.  Apparently she gave it to her husband five years ago, he never even took it out of the box to use it, and she wanted it out of the garage. I offered to pay her for it but she wouldn't take any money. 

Here is the pic of the OTG.  I haven't had a chance to clean it up yet.



Yall already know what a brand new WSM looks like anyways, so no need to upload a pic of that.

I love the look of those black triangles and ash pans........much like a good rug in a room it ties the whole thing together. Can't argue with free bbq equipment.......unless you are a woman.
