@crowderjd that's my birth year too! I've been keeping an eye out for that exact same kettle. Yours looks great, and knowing the history makes them all that much better. Can't wait to see the cooks!

Oh, and remind the wife of all the worse things you could be doing online...
Makes a little kettle hunting and collecting seem pretty harmless.
