First cook on my first Weber
« on: September 19, 2015, 07:40:32 PM »
i've done a lot of grilling, smoking, and outdoor cooking, but I now know what a big difference the Weber makes. Can't wait to learn and enjoy it even more.

Awesome! That second picture with whatever's going on in the lid (light, sparks from chimney) is pretty cool

Nice pictures! It looks like you have a nice grilling area. What is that lower built in unit to the left of the gas grill?

it is a gas burner for deep frying turkeys or boiling shrimp/crabs, etc.

Thanks for the nice compliments folks!  Some of you may already know this, but my old house was completely destroyed last year by an F4 tornado. All is good now with a new home at a new location. The grilling porch was my idea as a spot to enjoy life and friends. We certainly enjoyed it last night when our little ole' team from Miss'ippi put a whooping on the mighty Alabama. I am eventually gonna landscape and pour some more concrete for my weber to sit on.  Anyhow here are a couple more pics of the grilling porch.

Love this feature. Just discovered craw fish earlier this summer. I had been missing out.

Excellent outdoor kitchen, nice upgrade.  I was unaware of your home situation but it's good to see a grillfella make a strong comeback.  Best of luck to ya with the new setup.

Thanks!!  I really appreciate the complements folks. I have poured my heart, soul, and a chunk of my savings into this place. It is my dream home, 5 acres, 3400 sq. ft French Country. All paid for in cash, I am eternally grateful to the Good Lord above for sparing our life's and allowing us to enjoy this place.
