I call this #1, it's my favorite grill ever, I use it as my main cooker.....

Am I the only one here that can't see your photos Brian? The ones here and in the burger throwdown thread don't show up... [emoji53]

I keep using this pic to show my redheads...

The 2013 Performer is the true workhorse.  But, for larger cooks and for smoking they both do heavy lifting.

Typical smoke day:

6am - Pork shoulder goes on Performer Kettle to get smoke for 2 hours...
8am - Shoulder gets moved to the Genesis, right side, with single left burner on low to keep the temp at 225... 3 racks of ribs go on the Performer Kettle to get their turn at the smoke.
10am - Ribs get moved to Genesis to join their close friend, the shoulder...   20-30 chicken wings (marinated in wing sauce overnight) get their run on the Performer Kettle smoke.
Noon - Chicken wings get moved to the Genesis for one hour. Ribs get pulled from Genesis, double foil wrapped, and set aside to rest.
1pm - Chicken wing lunch commences....

Shoulder gets pulled off grill when it gets to temp, then it gets double foil wrapped and reunited with the ribs to rest.  Wife makes the homemade mac and cheese, cole slaw, and baked beans...  When the sides are ready, the shoulder is pulled, ribs are cut, dinner commences.

Can you see them now?

Yup.  Thanks.  Lookin good.  I've thought about a metal table for my performer but the plastic one one there is good so far and 'performing' well.[emoji38].  May upgrade in future though.

When you break the plastic replace it, otherwise it's fine....

My workhorse would have to be my jumbo joe. I have bigger grills but for most cooks my go to is the jj.

Ill update with pics later but my goto first grill is a blue stainless steel performer

Like others i run 2 kettles a lot bc the golden rule on my pavers is never cook 2 waves of food....just light more grills instead.  When i need 2nd kettle...i light up a  CB green ss performer.

And thanks..this is a very good thread/topic to start...interesting to hear /see everyones goto grills

My goto grill is a black 2006 Plastic table Performer.  I use at least once a week.
When I need more grill space I light up either a Red Pat. Pending daisy wheel or an 86 black one touch silver.

I have 2 workhorses.  My Performer and my 1999 3 wheeler.  Both see constant use year round.

Hofy, your 99 three wheeler has plastic handles?  Am I crazy or did some 99 have wooden handles too?
