Great burgers everybody...

Here's mine. I've wanted to bake bread for a while, so what better occasion than this burger throwdown.

After ten minutes amassing

One hour rise.

Four 80 g. Buns. The triangle was an experiment intended for my own burger, but we ended eating it up piece by piece.

I had to switch bakeware. All hail the parchment...

Kettle fries

80/20. Plus salt. 140 g.  patties plus the chef's snack.

Mustard, beef, cheddar, tomato, purple onion, alfalfa sprouts... with a side of Trooper Beer  :D

Here's another of the bun, just for kicks.

Great grilling everyone!!

You guys are amazing.  I don't even want to post more.

But I will :)

I started with some bun length blocks of sharp cheddar

I used 3 pounds of ground chuck abducted one pound of ground pork.
I seasoned with Northwoods blend from penzeys, added worcestershire and ground up funyuns.

I formed the meet around the cheese.

The fat dripping made lots of tasty smoke.

A few split.
The rest were quickly consumed on hot dog buns.

Hold up... so that makes these cheese stuffed burger-dogs??  :o

Mind = blown. Those look real good!

Cheese stuffed burger dogs, sounds right!!
They were surprisingly good!!
My 18 year old daughter, who usually hates everything, ate two for dinner last night and one for breakfast today.

My next version will have bleu cheese

Blue cheese and beef two pairs that are made for each other.  Like a slice a sharp cheddar on an apple pie.

Stretching the term "burger" a bit.

Mexican Street Burgers

A little un-ground beef, and some chicken...

Some veggies...

The fixins...

Open-faced, and in progress...

Stuffed burgers seems to have been a theme. I was stuffed after my version.

All the cooks looked grate  8)

Dude, relax your chicken.

Yup, street tacos actually. Hence, street burgers    8)    But had to make the post fit somehow.

Just for fun. And they were good no matter what the name.

I want to try all these good looking burger cooks.
