A few of you may remember this kettle  @MaxBobcat   The grill was found at an estate sale in Oklahoma a couple years ago by a nice fella who owns an "atomic" retro shop.
This fantastic grill now resides in Atlanta and will eventually belong to one of my kids.  Initially, I thought the wheels were red.  However, after closer inspection it was just a small coating of rust on the legs, wheels, and utility pan. After giving those parts a bath in evaporust...we have this.....It is in remarkable condition for its age and is still as shiny as it was 55+ years ago. A new white end cap and one cap nut..and we are good to go.

After bath... :)

Have we seen any/many MBH grills with the hole drilled all the way through the bowl handle? Maybe I haven't noticed but I thought most only had the hole on the underside of the bowl handle.

I'll get a pic of the hook on the lid

The real old ones seem to have the holes drilled all the way through...personally I think they were to hang the grill while the enamel was being baked, but that's my personal theory....

Awesome kettle and resto, Harris. Are those legs SS? They are blindingly shiny.
