Trying to pick up my first kettle
« on: August 22, 2015, 07:44:48 AM »
I have been looking for some older kettles for awhile now with nothing to show for it. I found this but trying to get to hold it till tomorrow. The picture looks like a Red 22 "C" code.  Looks to be in good shape with a chimney starter and some electric starter .  You think $40 is a good deal for that all?

It's a fair price the chimney alone is $15.00 if it's weber

I'd buy it anyway , because once you get one suddenly they'll appear everywhere , it's just the way it is :)

At least I now have my first Kettle and will be keeping my eyes out for some Vintage ones now.  There is a lil Red BB Kettle down the road I will be asking this old farmer about when I see him

Ty guys. Excited to finally have a kettle. Wanted an older one first but hey a kettle is a kettle. Now just got to figure out what to throw on first. Haven't cook on charcoal since my dad and I used to when I was a kid. Gonna be fun
