Since we're on the lookout for EH coded kettles, does anyone here have or have seen a patent NUMBERED avocado green kettle in 18 or 22 size? We've seen many PAT PENDING ones but ive yet to see a patent numbered cado. Why do I ask? The patent was granted on 11/10/1970. Avocado green kettles were available through at least 1973. The 1972 catalog lists the kettles as "PAT PENDING" however the 1973 catolog lists the patent number.  Anyone that has one with the patent number stamped please share with us.

If anyone is interested, I finally found an example of one of a Cado with the patent number... It belongs to a member on the Brethren... Pretty nice one too. Love the mist on the lid... This is so far, the only example I can find of one WITH the number as opposed to "PAT PENDING". So they do exist, but how many are out there?

Possible that what you'd look for is the stand alone kettles.......the patent is for the leg sockets, so would it be present in a legless, socketless kettle?

perhaps, but....then again................... 8)

And i wonder if 18"s would be another place to look?
