I know when they released them , you pretty much had to walk into the specific store they were selling them at to get one . I know several guys contacted these stores to buy them but they wouldn't ship them . I think if Weber released any new colored grills to test the market, it would be the same situation and those in the right place at the right time would get them.

Also it seemed to me @604 did a review of the Pizza oven , I know he has one ?

Probably the following thread, however, the pics have disappeared:

Not sure if Matt still has it.  He's been liquidating a lot of his stuff lately ....  ;)

I believe others have posted some of their cooks with this unit.
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

One full chimney is enough, and around 20 minutes from the moment you set the oven.

Then again, lots of variables like how many pizzas you'll be cooking, adding more fuel or wood, how long does it take for the coal to be ready, etcetera...
Me, I've never done less than 6 pizzas, and I add more coal and some wood... My kettle gets a good workout when I use it.

I've got one of the Weber pizza ovens. It works ok. I also have a BGE. Between the two, I think the BGE makes a better pizza. I'm also able to get the BGE hotter that my kettle.

My main complaint with the weber is the amount of heat from the back vents. The pizza cooks unevenly and needs to be spun a few times.

Opening the oven isn't a big issue, you don't have a lot of stored heat that is lost. Close the lid and it is pretty much instantly back to blasting hot air across the pie.

I bought mine from Amazon.de with the Mangal.  It was cheaper than Amazon.co.uk, .fr, .it, and .es.
