This Rat's Got Bling
« on: July 27, 2015, 11:52:53 AM »
Okay. I know it is only a Black 18 OTG....and it has a ugly lid thermometer some fool put into it....but I really like this Kettle. I've used it to cook on...it makes great wings...and I've used it as my charcoal station. With a cooking grate in it I've had it as a work table.

This past January I picked up some Cocobolo Rosewood and sent it to Chicago. Zavod transformed it into these:

Zavod told me this wood is so hard and oily Spar would not dry on it and the laser would not create dark logos. Cool. I love these handles!!! I wish I had gotten more of the wood.

That looks great. If you don't like the thermometer you can upgrade to the Weber one for a sleeker OEM look.

Big time:

The way it feels in the hand is amazing. This stuff is probably 3 to 4 times as heavy as normal wood too.
