Cut a mouth in it like some folks do for a pizza oven?  Don't even think that will work.

Paint some black round spots around the holes...set it in the wife's garden.  It will look like a big ladybug!

but about 1 metre away was a P code black 3 wheeler bowl in better condish than this lid
