Thanks again to Agent Red for plucking this beauty from an estate sale for me.  And thanks to Brian for the Zandle!  It came out nice.  What a cool grill - the inside came really clean and revealed some lime paint overspray.  Metal wheels weren't original, but I thought they would look sweet on this grill.

Sorry the pics are twisted - having trouble with edit on Photobucket for some reason....  @harris92 - I'll bring this one in August.

Great job! How'd you tackle the rust?

I used some barkeeper's friend on some 0000 steel wool.  Came right off!

One worry - the grill leans forward just a bit.  I'm wondering if the metal wheels are a little larger than the original plastic?  All of the legs are flush against the kettle in their sockets.  Not sure what to do about this.  Maybe adding an end cap on the front leg will lift it sufficiently?

harris92

Very Nice!  We will be disappointed of you don't bring that grill.  An end cap will help level it.   :)

Gorgeous. What kind of wood is the handle made from? Love it.

Use a big one like I have on Red.

I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

I asked Brian for something special for this Limey.  He made this handle out of spalted maple.  I think it is perfect!

Beautiful- that handle really sets it off. Congrats!
