i did lower the bowl
and i installed performer bowl brackets

there's one more mod i did that might be harder to spot. Its clearly visible, and I'm pretty sure that NO ONE has ever done it before. ;)
(i'm also pretty sure that NO ONE will ever do it again)

Yeah!!
I turned the 'high capacity' ash bucket into a 'lower capacity' ash bucket.
It will still hold more than a disc, and it will still be safer.
I had to cut about 1.5 inches from it so I could lower the bowl more.
I needed to lower the bowl more in order to make room so the bandit midsection would have enough clearance.
Cutting down the ash bucket and drilling and cutting the holes and notches for the handle was a fun little project.
I started with the dremel, but it was taking forever. Todd,  at Home Depot, said a $17 pair of aviation snips would cut through it like butter.
Well Todd is either an asshole, or keeps his butter in the freezer - because even with the snips it was very difficult.

I'm wondering what the pipe coming out of the bowl is for?  Attachment for an ATC?
Wanted: 18" Platinum any color will work

yes, its a bulkhead adapter for a bbq guru.
Oddly enough, with the adapter, and the mildly leaky one-touch system, it maintains 220-260 without touching anything.
I can throw in 20lb of charcoal, add 8 lit briquettes, and cook for 20 hours without fiddling.

Looks Awesome Troy, and I like the ash can mod, Brilliant!!!
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Lol. I love this mod. I thought about doing that too but aesthetically I like the normal pot. The snips won't give you a nice smooth edge either. I thought you said the CB was too wide to fit through?

Yup. It is.
There's a mod you cannot see. ;)

Looks good, Troy! How much space is  between the ash bucket and the bottom shelf? I've got a spare SS cart, and have been wanting to use it w/ my WSM for some time now.... between yourself, Gummi, and 604, I've got some great ideas to work off of.  Thanks!

I think its about an inch and a half. Just enough for the pan to drop. It won't pull out from that side, i'll have to drop it and maneuver it the other way out.
