Just in time for the 4th.  I give you, "The Reagans"
The growing squad of 1981 kettles. First year for wooden bowl handles!

Love the way each vent sits at a 45 Craig - signature of yours? I seem to always photograph mine wide open for no particular reason. Which one is Bonzo?

LightningBoldtz

My kettles at the moment, minus the Lions grill.

I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Russell C.

I've had a rough few days.  On Monday I laid my Mother to rest after a long, tough battle with cancer.  Today in an effort to occupy my time and mind I decide to clean up the garage a bit.  As I rolled out the Kettles to accomplish the intended task something hit me and I decided to snap a few photos.  Then I remembered something my Mom said to me on her last visit to my house:  "I look at your garage and have to think stamps would have been an easier hobby, but only God can give us our passions."  Truer words never spoken.  Miss you Mom.

@Russell C. my heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. In a way, I think much of our shared garage-filling passion comes from the inspiration we gained watching our mothers cooking and sharing their love with family and friends. I'm sure you'll be passing that on to future generations, keeping her memory alive for many years to come.

Sorry to hear about your Mom Russell.
Her quote sounds like something my own mother would say :)
