« on: June 23, 2015, 04:38:02 AM »
I saw this 3# brisket for nearly chuck roast price & knew what I had to do.

Thanks to @addicted-to-smoke for the excellent play-by-play & all comments / tutorial:

Standard L&S setup 2x1 (vertical, domino) stack for a bit more heat..

Pulled @ 200ish, not quite probe tender, yet..

I didn't wrap or cooler as I had a small insulated box waiting to rest it (after I pre-heated it w/ a cup of water)
just another use for the microwave...

Looks good Mike; you were happy with the results?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

@ 3# it didn't take too long (or cost too much)
I liked it fine & will salt it up a bit next go

My 'camera girl'  thought it was "Amazing" & wants to do it all again...
