Pepper Not-Stout Beef

Didn't have any stout on hand so used half lager, half beef stock. This is the second go round and it was huge hit the first time. Smoked in the WSM over hickory for five hours or so. Finished in the oven for a few more hours. Opted to serve it in tortillas with cilantro rice, and a little cheese on top. Fantastic again!

@1buckie that's a great idea! Although we have Sprecher root beer around here. Now that's a delicacy!

YES love Sprecher and use to live right by there...now back in the southwest but when i come home to brew city I get it!

Don't drink nuthin' & the only beer around is some weird tomato beer in a giant can that the wife drinks once every 6 months or so.....
Pepper Stout Root Beer Beef....
...the zucchini went really, unexpectedly well in this.....have a little zuke with your root beer beef?
