Is it really a Weber
« on: June 14, 2015, 08:15:44 AM »
Or a Knock off? I have a kettle that has the weber damper on top with a date code DT. But it says Kingsford on the handles. Is the really a Weber or is it a knock off. I thought it might be some promotional deal not sure.
Thanks, -Dave

Well DT is a valid weber date code 2003 and I've seen logos on handles before ( Mountain Dew ) so it's possible , got a picture ?

Looks like a Weber with logo handles. Pretty cool!

I plan to buy my second Kettle this weekend and this will donate its lid to become a pizza oven. I just wanted to make sure i was not going to cut something up that was rare.

It does sound like a promo kettle to me.  If there is no logo on it other than on the handles it is just a plain black kettle so go for it!
