First Redhead ***Updated*** more pictures
« on: June 13, 2015, 09:24:00 AM »
Just picked this up from Chicago Craigslist. It needs some TLC and a Good cleaning but should shine up like a "Red Delicious" apple when done. Got the grill, Tool holder, Table, Chimney, 22.5 Grill Grate, 1/2 Bag of Kingsford Charcoal, and Lighter Cubes that I'll never use. $50.00! Only thing missing is the thermometer about a $10.00 part. No deal breaker for me.

From what I can find I believe this is from 1984-1995 From the Lid PALATINE, ILL

I don't know if any of you contacted the lady but she said she had over 20 calls about this after I said I'll take it.

Conversation

Lady: Why do people want this old grill?
  Me: They are great grills!
Lady: But its old!
  Me: But its RED!
Lady: (Just looked at me as if I had 3 arms :o) oh well I hope you enjoy it
Me: I WILL and Thanks again!

So just wanted to let you at WKC know it went to a good home...Mine  ;D

That's a 93' and one heck of a deal. Most folks would have paid the asking price just for the Kettle....I would.

Just cleaned the Redhead! Took my time and cleaned most by hand and some sandblasting...but WOW! can't believe looks new, but with character.  ;D

The Color Change is Very Cool!! My neighbor thought I painted her.   ;D
