Double performer?
« on: May 29, 2015, 09:08:37 PM »
I have an abundance of performer parts and was wondering if anyone has mounted two performer bowls on a performer cart without the table? SS or 2005+ performer cart. I'm thinking a performer cart with blue and green kettles would be fun.

So, no table at all......just a frame full (or frameful?) of kettles?

Yep. All business and no pleasure or something like that.  8) I'm not even sure if the gas assist bits would fit in the same spot with a second kettle.

Got a lot of spare parts?

Perhaps a two banger cart like thing Winz did with a WSM on one end & Bisbee on the other?

Or the 26" Performer?

or does that not solve the "space considerations / consolidation" thing?

Yep, it won't solve the space issue but it sure would be fun. "Honey, the double performer actually only counts as One Weber!" ::)

This is a test for mounting bowl #2 to one of the existing table holes. The gas assist doesn't fit as the hose fitting, regulator, and igniter hits bowl #2. I kinda like it.

I just swapped in a green kettle for the black. It looks great!

I would add another bowl to an extended SS cart and convert it to the newer gas bottle with a three way valve maybe?
Wanted: 18" Platinum any color will work
This is my Kettle there are many like it but this one is mine......
