Rookie SJ questions
« on: May 23, 2015, 11:19:50 PM »
I was roaming my town of Cedarburg on my Harley, and look what I found.   Thankfully I had a bungy cord!!!!

No Date code, and removable legs to booot,   who can tell me more? It was grey, and I oiled it and baked it tonight.  Tomorrow to the garnet blaster for the legs, hopefully.

thanks for looking

I have my Dad's SJ (used but kept in the box) and it looks just like this one.  Mine was able to be dated 77 or 78 based on the copyright on the manual in the box.  Yours could be older than that, though.

How is the wood handle?  We can help you find a great reproduction if you need it.

Congrats!  You sure you didn't pay too much for it?  ;-)

Funny, I was at our local flea market today, and saw an A code smokey-joe, and was like, 'Meh'.

I could have gotten it free, but Mother would have killed me  :-)
