My first attempt at a roti
« on: May 07, 2015, 12:09:02 PM »
Rotisserie arrived yesterday, weather did not allow use.
While this is not up to Nate's standard, here are a few (poor) attempts at showing what I achieved...

Sorry about the poor image quality but the chicken was great!

It had been brinned overnight. Small chicken, approx 3 lbs, 1 gal of water, 1 cup of salt, 2/4 cup of sugar, 2 a bay leaves, 3 large crushed garlic cloves, a dash of pepper corns.

Stuffed with 1/2 a med orange.

trussed and a slight covering  salt and pepper (probably overkill)

1 1/2 hours  cooking ( would have been less if i hadn't been confused with imperial and METRIC)!

A good reason alone for the UK  to leave the EEC !!!!!    ;)   :)  (UK election night )

Tastes EPIC!!!!!
