Had this one for about a year and just got around to getting her cleaned up a little. My Blue is set to arrive next weekend and once that gets here, I will do a family shot of all the MT's; Red, Blue, Black and Green. This was was in pretty good shape, only took about an hour or so to get her cleaned up. Problem is that I just realized that its missing the lid rollers  >:(

Cado's are up on the block to get cleaned up tomorrow..

Enjoy..

That red cleaned up nicely!

Pardon my ignorance but that two tone I see on the red, is that a result from the heat over time or did weber intentionally paint them that way?  Either way that's a sweet grill!

The two tone red is OEM from Weber on certain red grills. Lovely grill, @indy82z!

Yeah, the fades were on Avacado, Reds (some), Brownies (some), the older peach & gray color ones.....maybe others I'm forgetting?

Mist or "fade ring" kettles:
1. Chestnut Coppertone 1956-68
2. Avocado Green: 1967-73
3. Copper Mist/Chocolate: 1969-1991ish
4. Some of the Reds made between around 1984-1992 then most of the Reds made from 1993-1999.

EDIT: I left out the "Plainsman" light grey with dark grey mist from 1962-63.

Jeez..tough crowd...  ;D I actually did polish them, they just did not shine up like some others have. I might just have to purchase some new ones.

Thanks on the rollers...let me know what I owe you..
