Some of you may recognize this one from last year. It started as a "Traveler" mod with the three "front" legs. Today I was messing around in my garage and had an "ah ha" moment. Since it had a the lid bale and JJ mod already (courtesy of Duke) why not try the stubby leg kit on her for fun.

Borrowed the leg kit I made for one of the red 18s, grabbed a spare set of period correct PAT PENDING era wheels and voila!

The red 18 the legs came from

Legs transferred over to the Cado.

The best part about this leg kit for me is that I can use them on any of the 18s I choose to travel with.

As for the red, it's back to its original configuration.. made some green onion brats and hot dogs on her for dinner tonight.

Looks like him, but the real Yoda is still standing tall next to Grandad's red pre pat 18 in the garage on my workbench display..  8)

Looks terrific, man.....

Hey, just a question for you & all the folks doing these "Stubbies":

Do you sit down while grilling / working the food?

I'm not a fan of hunching over so I use my 60s vintage white patio table... Out in the woods, I suppose I would bring a folding chair. ;D
