It was a real nice day here in Washington State on Saturday. It was 72° and blue skies. The wife picked up a preseasoned Rack of lamb I cooked on the weber kettle. This is the #2 cook on the kettle.

I like them well done

I like cookups with serial numbers. Makes sense, since each is unique in some way.

Never cooked lamb. Not sure I've even had it before? Looks yummy.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Just picked up on the numbering thing, pretty cool, and chops look great too!

Thanks guys, I figure after 10,000 I'll get tired of keeping track. I'm a locksmith at an institution and every key must have a serial number. I guess work follows me home in many ways :) WC is weber cook

Had to look that word up :) I think I like that word and will have to see if I can use it more often. Just figured it would be fun to keep track of how many cooks will happen on the Weber kettle.

That looks quite good....I may have to do one of those before too long. My wife likes lamb and I do her those tiny chops every now and again....normally I stay away from lamb but tried a bit of hers last summer and it was much better with a little hickory smoke.

Keeping track of the total cooks on a cooker is a novel....good idea. Problematic for someone bitten big time by Weberitis though.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

It's one of those words from like, the Moby Dick author or something....not used all that much anymore.... 8)

that's a good idea.......I'd be infinitely more organized if I'd started doing that in the beginning  !!!!!;

Nice looking cook! I've never cooked lamb either, but it's on my short list of things to try soon. Also, thanks for the shot of the copper... next time wheel that beauty out 10 more feet so we can see it glisten in the sun... :)
