First cook on the Wok
« on: April 17, 2015, 05:22:09 PM »
I am going to LOVE this thing.

Sweet and Sour Chicken stir fry.
I marinated 5 small chicken breasts overnight.

Setting up
My main cooker '15 Master-Touch

She's getting HOT

Kamado is perfect for it's side table

Sweet and sour tonight

OK, here's the thing, I do not have any pics of when I threw on the chicken because it cooked to friggin' fast
Immediately added frozen stir fry veggies, I wasn't sure how they would cook but they were perfect.

Pre-Sauced

Done
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Nicely done! I love my wok and use it at least once a week. We are stir fry/fried rice fanatics here. That's a sweet looking Master Touch too! [emoji106]🏻

Great looking stir fry!
I've never seen one of the weber woks in person, none of the stores in my area carry them, but I always wondered if they would be too small. In your pics it seems like the perfect size! I was leaning to an off brand one, but you got me leaning back towards weber. And that makes me happy!

Looks great! I need to use my wok more. No joke about the temps, with two full baskets that bad boy must've been screaming hot. That's the only way to do but you have to move fast, I never get pics of wok cooks for that same reason.

I have no regrets, I am going to use it often, if you have the BBQ system grate it is a must have IMO.  For a family of 5 it was not too little.

Great looking stir fry LB!

Really glad to hear you like the wok, I think it's a great size for a family and you can still sneak some small items onto the grill if you want.

It should also work on a gas range in the kitchen. The bottom is flat underneath even though its round inside on the cooking surface. Best of both. Maybe you could confirm?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
