So I pulled the legs out. They're not terrible. Going to use the "how to restore the legs "article posted here. They weren't too tight. Is there a way to keep them snug when I get them polished? Bowl vents are in decent shape. Also missing a hubcap. Going to look for some replacements. Any suggestions? Bowl and lid look like they will clean up nicely. Need to stop and get the steel wool tomorrow.  The only blemish is a little gash in the lid and the white paint on the wheels is pretty faded. Repaint or replace?

Let's get some pics posted so we can see what is going on.

Side by side with the MT

nasty gash on the lip of the bowl

Bowl shouldn't be too hard to clean (crossing fingers)

Bottom dampers all still work. A little tight, but I think they'll be good after cleaned

Lid is in great shape

Wheels need a little paint

What a beautiful find! Helps me keep hope alive, I was just checking craigslist before this...no such luck today.

I thought it looked nice from the initial post but man seeing more pics almost makes me wish I had taken the 120 mile round trip.....

Regardless, I am so glad a grill fella got it.

I'll post a pic of the vent tomorrow. Gotta spend time with the wife/in-laws tonight. Going hardcore on it tomorrow. Cleaned the inside of the bowl and lid this morning. Came out immaculate.

Lid came pretty clean

As did the bowl

Legs polished up nicely

Wheels cleaned and repainted

Triangle took about three hours including an extra trip to Menards. This was by far the hardest part. Can't tell from the pic, but it's no where near perfect.

It really wasn't too bad. I followed the guides here on the site. I maybe spent $50 or so on supplies. The next one won't cost nearly as much. I'm well equipped to take on another one now.  ;)
