I think the platinum should have a gas igniter. I can't tell from the picture if yours has that. Either way, great looking pick up!

One Touch Platinum's don't have the gas igniter.  You're thinking of the top Performer.  The One Touch Platinum's from the early 2000's are different.  I have one of these myself, well the cart part of it anyway.

That's the same one I have. Kind of poor mans performer:) it has the table lid bale and tool hooks. No thermo, no coal bin and of course, no gas assist. Thermo and a charcoal caddy can both be added cheap.

If you find it cheap enough there is no better bang for the buck.

It's the original style OTP. The newer generation is pictured above.

I picked it up for $30. Was thinking about using it for a C&B/ gas assist mod project but like the way it is now. Think I'll keep it as is for a driveway grill.

Nothing too special....I have an extra C&B performer lid and bowl. So was thinking about mounting it on here, adding gas assist...and I have another darker thermoset table. But I don't know now...might just keep the C&B boxed up for back up or wait until I come across a SS performer that needs a new kettle.

I'm keeping the OTP the way it is. It's good the way it is. Just took me actually typing out the mod idea before l realized its not really what I want to do...at least with the C&B extras

I've had many ideas about upgrading mine closer to a performer but I may just wait until I find a GA performer on CL  and swap then. The biggest problem is I really like the new metal table and larger lid bale in the 2015 performers so I'm temped to go new.

Kettle problems.

Charlie, I'm with you on the larger bale for sure. I was able to find a new table recently which I like. I think there will be some CL scores on older performers coming up since the new re-design. Here's my C&B with the new table.
