Help, need advice on 22" Kettle
« on: January 30, 2015, 05:18:27 PM »
Someone local has an F code 22" black kettle. I think that means 1984. It's been stored for 19 years and is in good condition. Is it worth 35 bucks???

That's a fair price. Not a screaming deal but not a rip off either :)

Yes good price. Grab it. Especially if it is mint and been stored for 19 years!

I'd pay that for it and smile about it.
I don't see colors, I just see kettles....And I want them all !!!

Snag that for sure. 1984 was a great year. ;)  I would love to find an F code in mint condition.

Thanks for the advice. Called the lady and will meet up with her first thing Monday AM. for purchase. The price has been lowered to twenty but it's going to need a one touch kit which is 16 bucks. I'll post pics of the restoration and my collection: 2010 26" Black with custom wood handles, 2009 Black Genesis E320, 2008 Black SJ with aftermarket NFL helmet (Redskins) kettle lid. The first two were craigslist bargains: $150 for the 26 OTG and $75 for the gasser.
