BBQ Cook Offs / Throwdowns / Competitions
« on: December 02, 2014, 10:29:36 PM »
In case you didn't notice, last month we launched a very casual cook off for Turkey Day.
The goal was discuss how it should work with voting and themes throughout November - but I'm a slack-ass and didn't accomplish any of it.

So, a few questions:
- what should Decembers theme be?
- how do we handle voting?

All of Novembers entries are getting some WKC stickers. I can't guarantee that I'll always be able to offer this - but I'll definitely do it again in December ;)

here's a quick rundown of my thoughts....(borrowing from another bbq board)
December's theme---holiday meal best pic(table spread or plate)
voting-set a deadline for entries for each cookoff. then create a poll listing all entries.
at the end of the voting time, the one w/the most votes wins and gets some kind of kudos plus the ability to select the next competition theme(meat/veggies/dessert..etc)

I'll be making a meal out of 7/11 items just because it sounds fun.
