Happened across an episode with Julia in her back yard cooking up some nice steaks directly on a pile of lump. ("Dirty Steak with Hot Fanny Sauce") I'll have to recreate this scene sometime…

A great grill, and a fascinating recipe. I have never seen someone sweat onions in caramel. I gotta try that!

Julia goes caveman - love it. The big honkin' steak really is the way to go if you are doing this method.
