There was nothing like my Mom's homemade meatloaf. Until I made this thing on Saturday. I even made it "healthy" by using ground turkey.
But it came out awesome if i may say so myself!
We bought this thing at a fair about 10 years ago and it just sat in the back of the cabinet. It's supposed to keep the food moist yadda yadda. I decided to try it out with the loaf. Filled it with beef broth 2x throughout the cook. About an hour 45 total.
I soaked some hickory chips and threw them in foil to add some flavor. Also tossed a quick rub together: 1 tbl Brown sugar, 1 tbl garlic powder, 1 tbl onion powder, 1 tsp black pepper, and a 1/2 tsp of cayenne.
Now all I can think is...What's next?!?!?!
