Here's my new 2015 Crimson Red Performer Deluxe, straight from our Warehouse:

Sorry for the tease, but I'll upload the pics once I have it assembled.  Have to pick up my parents from the airport in a few hours, so will start on her tomorrow.  I'll post some better quality, detailed pics soon.

BTW - More than half of our (ACE Hardware) Warehouses have the new Performers in stock, and the remaining ones will have them by 10/15.  If you want one, I would suggest going into your local ACE store, and asking the manager to order one, as many will wait until next Spring to order these.

"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

Nice.

I already had gone to my ACE store and had them inquire about a Mastertouch. Took about 5 phone calls before the regional Ace buyer said it was in the "future" items and gave her the Ace item number. Supposed to ship from the warehouse on Sunday, nut we shall see.

What is the Deluxe Performer going for in the stores? (I realize you likely got an employee discount)

The Master Touch is also available in half of our warehouses.  The Performer Deluxe sells for $399 retail.

What state do you live in?

Can't wait to see your impressions of that grill in action once you get her out of the box

Looking forward to your pictures! That bale bar, what an improvement. Small fingers can't miss the new igniter switch. You could't get Ivory?

congrats Martin!

it's been discontinued in the UK since 2013 on 22.5 (57cm) models.  best i can tell anyway.

I only use kettles with lid bales.

OK Guys, here are the rest of the pics.

My initial observations:

The gourmet grate is thicker gauge steel than standard Performer SS grate.
The wheels are nice, better movement
New table is awesome looking and sturdy
The grate sits uneven in the bowl.  I'll have to bend the supports. No big deal, had to do this with previous Performer.
It will be tougher to get straight grill marks with the gourmet grate, as there's lots of overlap (if not using sear insert), and can see crud building around the insert piece
Might purchase normal SS grate for reason above
As others have mentioned, it takes a bit of pressure to release the ash catcher, but no big deal here.
Was expecting the color to be a bit more vibrant, but still love it.

Will break her in this weekend!

Thanks for looking.

Fantastic pics - thanks! I like the color combo on this one. I look forward to a test drive myself - Just gotta a find a  place that carries them here. Not likely until next grilling season I'm afraid. I still wish they had a better solution for storing the grate - hanging it around back is a hassle, and no space for the inserts has me hunting for the piece i need.

Still need one more set of pictures after your cook this weekend, it looks great!  Since you mentioned the wheels how are they held on?  Are the standard hubcaps under the big hubcap?  The wheels are one of my few grips with Weber grills as I usually can't get the little plastic piece to stay on if I have to remove them, looks like the new wheels may not have that issue.

that looks sharp !!!

Even if it is entirely too shiney & new !!!

"The grate sits uneven in the bowl.  I'll have to bend the supports. No big deal, had to do this with previous Performer."

It might be the grate.....I've had several relatively new & old that were the grate somehow off......the supports were fine.....double check before you bend.........
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"
