I wonder if they came up with a better location for it? The problem with the serial location was if you had to have a replacement lid due to damage or defect during shipping the new lid vent no longer had the serial on it or at least my replacement doesn't.

Performer serial numbers are on the frame somewhere, my ace weber guru at Ace Hardware told me that when I did recon about my formerly owned copper '15 photo shoot perf dlx.

I only use kettles with lid bales.

I love the lid bale.  I really like the position that the lid is stowed in. Have we confirmed if this bale will fit our older performers, without modification?

How can we order these?

What material are the rollers made out of?  Still something melty?
When i ordered some parts two weeks ago the Rep said the part number was the same as the older style, so you might get a new one after they run out of the old style.
Wanted: 18" Platinum any color will work
This is my Kettle there are many like it but this one is mine......

That's a nice looking machine, I must admit.  Kudos to Weber for finally dumping those stupid plastic tables!  :)

The non-ss performers  don't use the vent code for their serial numbers. Like the gassers, they are on a white sticker. The sticker is located on the back of the performer.
