Joliet Jake & Elwood Blues
« on: September 16, 2014, 07:31:31 PM »
I have recently come into not one, but TWO grails in a very short time. Thanks to G for the 18 and harris92 for the 22. The 18 needed some TLC and the 22 just needed a quick surface clean and some new hubcaps but here they are, both from the model year 1980 (same year the Blues Brothers movie came out) which makes this even more fun for me.. Both will be regular cookers added to the rotation.  8)

Enjoy!

The 18. Joliet Jake

The 22.. Elwood Blues

Thanks for looking!

Great scores @Craig !!!
Is that the first B code we've seen with twin rivet bowl handles?

Nice work on the 18 Craig.  It was a bit rough to start but you brought it back.  Both look great together.

Great blues you got there.  Looking at a blue kettle always seems to put me in a good place.
