It appears the new bowl leg sockets have been fitted with a new hole. What do you think? Possibly a spring loaded radio button to hold the legs in?!??!

I think this would be a FANTASTIC feature!

... this is not a weber leg but exactly what I'm envisioning in my head...

Who knows, the new complete OTG kits may already have the new style legs
(my bowl and lid were warranty replacements)

Heyjude

The Happy Cooker used a bolt through the leg method. I think it was quite good..
If anyone has ever had a leg fall out while moving a kettle, you would really appreciate it.. 8)

"NEW PATS" ;D

I like the idea of a spring loaded legs. It makes for better tinkering and customization.

What is the orientation of the hole on the front leg?  If they are making a push button lock on the legs, they might orient the holes so that it is impossible to assemble it cattywampus.  Just a thought.  ::)

2015 Traveler edition? I actually think this is a great idea. I've thought about legs that quickly break down that is more robust than the standard patented design.

X2👍
I gotta break down a 22.5 for travel this weekend. Ease of breaking it down, then assembling again would be sweet.
