Finally used some yesterday evening in my Grill Dome. Don't be haters, still love my Webers. With regard to the charcoal, I wasn't too impressed but I wasn't disappointed either. It lit fine and burned cleanly with no funny smell as some reported. I don't think it lasts quite as long as lump and certainly didn't burn as hot. At about $.70 a pound it seems okay, which is what I paid after discounts and no shipping, I'm fine with the 8 boxes I bought. If I paid regular price, about 3 times what I paid, I would be pissed!
I'll probably report back after I've used more.
