Is the body diameter and length of a otg

identical to a performer?  Meaning if I close the lid will length from lid to the cooking grate be the same on both grills?

Yes, they have to be. They share the same bowl and any difference in grate height will correspond to a change in grate diameter. Thus, they are the same.

The Performer bowl has brackets welded on the side, so if you are looking to put it into a cart, you would need to plan and allow for that.

Any one know why a Gold Kettle has 2 handles vs 1 on a silver?
I assume to make it easier to pick up, or is it to justify the higher price?  :obut Most people probably just roll them around.  8)

I have an OTS that I added gold ash pan to. Looks like gold but admittedly that second handle would come in handy for movement , hanging utensils etc.
