Came with the QD refill adapter as an added bonus.  Now I can get to repainting my other tank...

Wiped it down, hooked it up to the red ssp, checked for leaks, fired it up, all is good!  Don't know the story behind the hose mishap as the owner just left it outside for me to pickup.

Yeah, that's a great grab.  Those things are really expensive to replace. 

I found a place near me that recertifies tanks, btw.  It's a kind of commercial-level propane supply outfit, seems to serve lots of restaurants and food trucks.  He re-certed my tank for 5 or 10 bucks, and it's good for 5 years (at which point I can have it re-certed again). 

(yeah, that's right, my trusty 'ask no questions' friends at the U-Haul store must have gotten a visit from OSHA...  ;-)
