First off let me start off by giving jcnaz a big thank you for scoring this kettle and passing it on to me!
When I got this kettle it was in pretty good shape but needed a few things done. It needed a new handle, scrubbed down on the outside, the vents cleaned, lid vent tab bent back to correct position,  legs cleaned and the triangle cleaned. All in all pretty easy stuff. Now I know I might catch some flack for it but I made my own handle for it. I reused what was left of the old one and made the rest. I just had to give it a try. So first off the pics jcnaz sent me of it then ones as the cleaning and what not progress. ENJOY!!! I know I did even though I cleaned this thing up during the hottest week so far this summer.

it has some lime overspray in side the lid and bowl.

I scored a slide aside lid holder for it on a cl score of 2 kettles. The lid hook on it was just a bit loose and I don't want it to break off. 1 of the kettles I scored also was pretty beat and was a black 18.5 with a 2 rivet handle I was going to steal it as the lime needed it but I think a friend of mine is going to get the black 18.5 mbh.

Pretty sure that is the original cooking grate also.

Once again thank you goes out to jcnaz for being a grate grillfella!! (And for not collecting colored kettles!)

Yes Ken, just one little chip in the bowl.
When I picked this thing up I couldn't believe what good shape it was in! All original down to the ash pan and rubber tires. My last trailer park treasure was not nearly this nice!
