I am the captain of the "they are meant to be cooked on club", but seeing that...there is no way I could do it.

No way could I own such a beauty.  My brain would explode.   I could never cook on it, but I also believe that is what it is for, to cook on.

Because I'm not a collector I'd cook a shit load of Burgers and Dogs for it's first cook.  Just like someone 40 years ago would've done.  Or you could contact Weber and let them know what you have.  I've read they are very generous in trade for vintage un used products.
