I was bouncing around the interwebs and stumbled onto the South African Weber site.  Look at what is available....

Corn and tator rings, condiment racks, and warming racks.......bastards!

I would consider selling un-needed organs for a brand new corn'n'tater !

Anybody looking for a well used liver? (and should this be posted in Trading post or Member Sales and Trades?)  ;) ;)

Welcome to the WKC, it's more than just a web site..

I'm asking out of curiosity only at this point, me being new to this board and all and having no knowledge of a corn-n-tater ring before this board. I understand the potential usefulness of the corn-n-tater rings. I might have a resource that can get some over here  from SA if they are available in stores there.

However, a couple of questions before I broach the subject with my potential source:

1. If you could get one new what are the size(s) that would be of primary interest (if applicable)?
2. What is the price-point these would normally sell for to people that would want to have one (or more:))?
3. Would you be willing to pay a bit of a premium if all profits were going to a charity (to account for potential source/shipping costs from there to here)?

(If I'm being inappropriate asking this here, please let me know. I'm not intending to break any rules.)
This is a fairly cheap hobby when you consider the time  with family and friends and how many meals are created.

That "Mantourian" griddle looks cool.  I'd be in for one of those and more.

Considering the South African Rand is worth .10 American, the corn and tater ring would be $10. All the wire accessories are light enough to keep shipping cost down. Buy 20 of each and ship them over. You will have an eager audience here if shipping and duties don't drive the prices through the roof.

I don't know what you could sell them for but I'm sure you could cover your costs and get a couple free ones for yourself.

By the way a 57cm is 22.5"

Chuck-
We can still find the Corn-N-Tators here, albeit used, but couldn't buy a "Mantourian" griddle if our lives depended on it.   I'd be interested in seeing what one of those would cost to get here.  (hint, hint...)   8)
Interested in ANY offset handle SJs you may have.

Shipping from SA is expensive. Keep in mind that it goes by size as well as weight so the griddle will be very expensive.

When I had the condiment holders sent to me in Australia the shipping cost made up about 80% of the total cost (and the condiment holders weigh bugger all).
